BBC News School Report Day 19 March 2015
A keen group of Year 9 journalists took part in this year’s BBC News School Report. They adeptly deal with some breaking news as MP Gavin Barwell sends in some reaction to yesterday’s budget. The Chancellor also announced money for driverless cars, and they seek views on the desirability of this technology. They look ahead to the solar eclipse, giving us a step-by-step guide to making a pin-hole camera. They look into the impact of technology on teen’s health. We have a special report on the Britain’s growth in cycling, and finally, a Sport round-up in which they ask why English Sport is doing so badly.
We also have a separate special report from Rohan on the centenary of World War One, in which he remembers Whitgift’s memorial service, and looks ahead to the exhibition that Whitgift will be hosting next year on life on the Western Front.
