Parents of prospective day pupils, whose family income is less than approximately £80,000 a year, may apply for a bursary (an income-related fee reduction).
There is a generous, but limited, annual budget for bursaries, which are awarded on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examinations, assessments and interviews, for those who qualify in terms of their income and residency.
The Whitgift Foundation calculates the bursary award, which may cover almost the entire fee. A proportion of parents may be offered a bursary smaller than the Foundation’s assessment, to enable a larger number of families to benefit from the scheme. More information can be found in the guide below.
Further information regarding bursaries and the Bursary Application Form for 2019 entry will be available to download from mid-August 2018.
If you are applying for a bursary, please tick the bursary box on the main Whitgift Application Form (which should be submitted to the School either by hard copy or online from mid-August 2018) and send the completed Bursary Application Form, with all of the relevant documents, to: The Whitgift Foundation, North End, Croydon, Surrey, CR9 1SS, by 23 November 2018.
